Logitech 960-000095 Quickcam Deluxe for Notebooks- White Box Version Review
I got this as a gift for my Dad, so this is based on the handful of times I got to use it while I was staying at his house.
We used this to talk to my cousin in Iraq via Skype, and it worked well. The picture look great on my Dad's laptop (which was running Windows XP). I think any picture issues across Skype were because of internet issues in Iraq. The wide angle lens let most if not all of our family (20+ people) into the camera frame. The only time she ever complained about the audio was when we were all talking to her at the same time, and even then she could usually pick out a persons question or comment. That was usually the person speaking the loudest or closest to the camera/mic.
I didn't get to explore the included software much 'cause I was usually in a rush to get the camera working to talk to my cousin.
It worked wonderfully and helped make for an amazing Christmas day!
